~ More Fall Family Fun ~

I'm getting kind of sad as I see all the leaves start drifting to the ground. Why does fall always going by so darn fast? At least I had time to play in the leaves with alot of adorable kiddos. I will leave you this Friday with 2 more adorable sessions. Have a great weekend everyone!

~ Katie and Troy plus one ~

I knew Katie and Troy had luck on their side when I shot there wedding a couple years ago in the month of Febuary and it was 70 degrees outside....seriously. So of course it's not an accident that they have the most perfect beautiful baby boy ever!
This blog is going to move fast this week, I have a ton of family sessions to post so check back often!

~ Rowan is 6 months old ~

So this particular photo shoot served 2 purposes. Number #1 - These lovely parents (in the middle) raised 3 boys in a house most parents could only dream of. It's gorgeous, and the land is stunning. They are going to sell the place now that the kids are all grown, so they wanted some family photos it front of it. (Plus their daughter-in-law Chelsie and Grandson Rowan)

Back in the woods was a treehouse that Dad built with his own 2 hands. I overheard some crazy story about one of the boys getting shot with a BB and telling mom he slipped and hit his head on the stop sign :)
And purpose # 2 of this shoot was - Rowan is 6 months old YAY~! He has gotten to be such a big boy since I shot him as a newborn. He is such a doll, I was laughing at all his funny faces while editing.

~ Remember these darling little triplets ~

They are big boys now! I can hardly believe it! It seems like yesterday I was shooting their newborn session and amazed at what it felt like to handle a 4 pound newborn. Levi was so tiny! He and his brothers Max and Will are now 18 month old toddlers and keeping mom and dad busy!
They kept me pretty busy at the shoot too, I would stop for literally a second to talk to Mom and Dad about what I wanted to do next and like a flash of lighting all three boys were headed off in different directions and we were off running to chase them.
I adore families with alot of kids. It's all I've ever wanted for myself. A house full of jammie footed, bed-headed, babies stumbling around with sippy cups.

I smile ear to ear when I look at these photos of the triplets and know that their house is full of the beautiful chaos that also occupies mine. To have these 3 little boys born healthy and see them thriving is just the biggest blessing I could imagine for these parents.

~ 7 and 8 of 8~

...and I present to you...sessions 7 and 8 of 8. Shooting 8 family sessions in one day was a wild ride but I had such great clients to work with. Now don't get all giddy thinking I am going to post 8 more family sessions next week, after all this Sunday I am slowing down and only shooting 5 family sessions.... ;)I must admit I squealed a little with delight when I asked these two siblings to smooch and they did. Rocky would rather poke a stick in his eye than kiss Luci :(Can you believe her curls aren't natural? Momma sponge-rolled those and I got all the details from her to try it out on Luci.
Now these curls....all natural baby. I've been shooting Paige and Evan FOREVER wouldn't you die to have their skin tone?
I've known their mama Jennifer forever. We met in 7th grade. I tried a cigarette for the first time in the field behind her house. There was a KC Hall parking lot and one of those cigarette vending machines - we would sneak in and buy some and then sit in the field and smoke, and choke, and gag and pretend it wasn't disgusting....oh how I miss being young :)
