I was absolutely delighted to spend the day with Tara and Keith and their families. They have quite a unique story, but we'll get to that in a minute. Because first we need to talk about how stunning Tara looked. First of all, that dress fit her like a glove, the lace overlay was to die for, topped off with the side swept hair with the fascinator… As I told her that day, "You got it all right sister, from head to toe!"
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, she whips out this fabric and broach bouquet. Amazing! Broach bouquets are the new hit trend for 2012, you can quote me! ;)
Whoever said "You never get a second chance to make a first impression" lied. Because Tara and Keith went on TWO first dates, years apart. The first one didn't go so well, sparks didn't fly, planets didn't align and they were both at very different points in their lives. But then, years later...a chance meeting, a sand volleyball team, and Keith's pick-up line: "So, can I finally ask you out now?"- and she was sold. The rest was history. Kudos to Keith for his perseverance. Most guys wouldn't have the guts to go for it again with a girl it already didn't work out with, but he must have known it could be something really great- and he was right.
My favorites :)
North County folks will love this: Instead of a cake, they had a donut tower from Old Town Donuts!
