Okay quick back-story...back in my radio days I was part of an elaborate prank to get on the Dr. Phil show. Our morning show had worked with him on a project and he was a big jerk so we wanted to get him back. Myself and our stunt guy "Honkey" set up this story line and wrote into the show. They let us on, we pulled it off, Dr Phil found out, got pissed, they swore the show would never air again and we almost got sued by paramount.
I still have the whole episode on tape somewhere but I haven't watched it in years, but my friend Honkey posted the lead in tease on his myspace page and watching it again made me laugh.
So if your bored click on his page below, it will start playing automatically you have to scroll down to see it, enjoy :)

2008 is completely closed
Ladies and Gentlemen, 2008 is completely closed out for bookings. Weddings, families, seniors, births, you name it, I'm booked.
God has blessed me so greatly, with a job I love and clients who return. It breaks my heart that there are many of you I won't have the opportunity to shoot this year.I have left a limited amount of spots available for engagement sessions for 2009 brides that I book throughout the year. I will also take a few names and put them on a waiting list, in case those engagement spots don't fill up.
Please feel free to contact me for referrals, as I have a lot of friends in town who do very similar work within the same price range. I would love to pass their name along to you.
Like any of us, with any job, there are days I am really proud of my work, and days I think I stink and should quit. I am thankful every single day for all of my awesome clients who allow me to do this for a living and I am humbled that many of you have booked me so far in advance.

Jess is so goofy and fun but she also totally rocked the "Soap Opera Stare" - check it out :)

And here's Frankie!!! His Senior pictures were so much fun here was hit list of props:1. Cowboy Hat

And the cold weather sent me into the City museum for Dan & Kayla's engagement shoot!
How's that for some flare?
I was excited that I remembered how to get to this funky mirror!

Congrats to Becky and John who were married in my hometown of Granite City IL! And a big thanks to Dorinda for shooting with me that day!

And now baby Caroline! Here's mom and dad taking their first look at her!
Momma gets her first kiss.
Blubbering grandma's get their first look...
Big brothers checking her out, making sure she has all her fingers and toes.
The whole family!
Thank you all so much, sorry these were so late, I have more to catch up on the next day or two so check back soon!

If neighbors can have “block parties” photographers can have “shot parties”
I’m hosting a “shot-party” which is basically a term I made up for getting a bunch of photographers to get together and shooting for fun!!! After the shoot we will hit a local restaurant for some networking and socializing! Here are the details:
There will be 2 shoots going on. One is a fashion shoot, I’ve hired a local runway/ billboard model, she is a former Rams cheerleader and has been modeling professionally for 7 years. In addition, we will also be doing a very urban/punk-rock engagement session that I’m really excited about....think mo-hawks and tattoos :) I purposely set this up in the evening so we can work on sunset shots/night shots/fill flash etc...
The first 20 photographers to contact me at KellyManno@yahoo.com can have a spot. Then I will take 4 people on a waiting list in case of cancellations. We will split up, 10 photographers per model(s) and then switch after about 30 minutes.
There is no charge, however each photographer must provide the models with 10 finished images within 4 weeks of the shoot.
The date is Sunday April 13th at 6:00pm – exact location and more details will be made available for those who RSVP.
Please e-mail me your : Name, Studio Name, & Contact phone to reserve a spot!

HERE THEY ARE!
I did a huge B-pic marathon a couple weekends ago with 8 girls! Here is a peek at them! Not only were the girls awesome, but I also had a dynamite style team to help me out! I want to thank Donna Harris and Amy Dennis for hair and make-up. They can both be hired through METRO if any photographers need them for a shoot, or brides need them for their wedding day they did and awesome job! I also want to thank my assistants that day Dorinda and Lisa!
